SuperLeigh Sponsor Colls Youngster

SuperLeigh are proud to announce that they are adding to their support of local entities by sponsoring young footballer Jordan Grant as his Atherton Collieries side begin their first season in the Evo-Stik League Division One North, the highest level in the club’s history.

18 year old Jordan, a former Bedford High School pupil, had previously played for Bolton Wanderers before joining the raft of local players plying their trade at The Kensite Stadium this season.

Jordan is pictured here with SuperLeigh Assistant Manager Johnny Simpkin who said ‘It’s a delight to not only help a local lad on his journey but also to help Atherton Colls on their journey. It’s not always about the sport you love but sport in general and we are privileged to be a part of Jordan’s career.’

Having won the North West Counties Premier League title last season, Colls were special guests of Leigh Centurions when Wakefield Trinity visited Leigh Sports Village in May, with Micheal Clegg’s side parading their trophy on the pitch at half-time.

Atherton Collieries are the latest beneficiaries from SuperLeigh’s support in the local area, joining the likes of Atherton & Leigh Food Bank, Andy’s Man Club, Ben’s Wish and Compassion in Action in receiving support from SuperLeigh.

If you are interested in joining SuperLeigh, we have a range of business and personal memberships available, whilst we are always on the lookout for door-to-door agents to collect subscriptions from our membership in the local area.
