There was no winner in this week’s predictor Barrow Score Predictor competition, so the prize fund for the Featherstone Vs Leigh Predictor stands at £390 . You simply guess the score of our game each week and if you’re correct you share the prize pot. All profit goes to Leigh Centurions. You can participate at The Boars Head, The Centurion, The Britannia, the Superleigh office at the stadium, The Retail outlet on Leigh Market and now also available at The First And Last!!
On Friday 9th November 2018, the Banqueting Suite at Leigh Sports Village will be the venue for an exciting murder mystery evening, based on a fictional end-of-season Leigh Centurions Awards Dinner, filled with intrigue, suspicion, and of course, MURDER!
As well as enjoying a delicious 3-course meal guests will be able to take part in a fully interactive murder mystery event, performed by 7 professional actors. During the course of the evening, guests will have the opportunity to interrogate the suspects, examine the evidence, and ultimately guess the murderer, with the winner receiving a ‘Star Detective’ certificate and a special prize!
The event will start at 7.30pm, finishing at around 10.00pm followed by a disco until 1.00am.
Following a number of turbulent years at Hilton Park, chairman Brian Bowman has resurrected the club’s fortunes, and under the guidance of manager Kevin Ashcroft, Leigh Centurions have clinched the league title.
The whole town is in party mode, and there’s excitement in the air as supporters head to Hilton Park for the club’s end-of-season Awards Dinner.
Brian will be at the top table, alongside his wife Marion, to present the awards, and supporters are invited to join club officials, staff and players for a very special evening.
Fans will get the chance to meet John Woods, the club’s star player and leading try scorer, who is widely expected to pick up the club’s Player of the Year trophy.
Everything seems to be running smoothly at Hilton Park, on and off the pitch, and everybody connected with the club is looking forward to a memorable evening.
But things aren’t quite as they seem.
With cracks beginning to appear in Brian and Marion’s marriage, a simmering of resentment and jealousy amongst certain people at the club, and rumours circulating that the club is in financial difficulties, a series of unfortunate events and revelations will ensure it is indeed a memorable evening, for all the wrong reasons.
Could you uncover the truth…..

Ever since our recent appeal to help us grow our membership base with the ultimate aim of growing our financial support of Leigh Centurions, we have seen magnificent efforts from the club’s supporters to introduce new members to us or increase their current memberships, with many people doubling or even tripling their weekly entries which, needless to say, has been a huge boost to us and something that we can’t thank you enough for.
As has been the case throughout the club’s existence ever since the original lottery first came in to being in the 1970’s, Hilton Park Society – now better known as SuperLeigh – has always existed as a separate entity to the club, ensuring that we are able to provide the best support possible to Leigh Rugby League Club in its various guises over the years, be that Leigh RLFC, Leigh Bears or Leigh Centurions, whilst being able to stand on our own two feet, regardless of the club’s model or ownership.
Thanks in no small part to the support of our new and existing members along with the efforts of our partners at The Britannia, The Centurion, First and Last, The Boar’s Head and the Leigh Centurions Retail Outlet, in the last two weeks alone we have donated over £2,500 to Leigh Centurions to assist them in continuing to operate ahead of the start of the Betfred Championship Shield.
We are always on the look out for new members and door-to-door collectors and getting in touch with us couldn’t be easier, either call the office on 01942 487892 or email email@example.com
Don’t forget as well as helping Leigh Centurions you can be in with a chance to win a cool £1,000 just like week 22 winner Mr P Williamson pictured here with SuperLeigh agent Natasha Brown. Membership costs from just £1 per week and can be paid via a door-to-door agent or by standing order. Joining could not be simpler, you can either….

SuperLeigh have been astounded by the response to our rally call last week and would like to thank each and every one of you who got in touch to either join or increase your membership.
Another way that we support the club is by running our score predictor competition that costs £1 to enter. With the help of local pubs The Centurion, First and Last, The Boars Head and The Britannia along with The Retail Outlet on Leigh Market and The Ticket Office at LSV we hold a weekly competition to guess the score of that weeks fixture with the winner receiving the prize pot that rolls over each week it is not won. So far this year we have made a total of £1,293.11.
Pictured above are Mandy Sanders (The Centurion), Carole Cornwall (First and Last) and Clive Render (Retail Outlet) presenting a cheque for this amount to Leigh Centurions Head Coach Kieron Purtill. We will carry on with this competition into the Championship Shield with the prize pot standing at an impressive £364.00. To enter, call into any of these outlets, fill in a slip with your prediction, hand it in along with your stake and cross your fingers!. We would like to thank once again all the participating pubs, outlets and also their clientele for their continued support.
Don’t forget you can still join SuperLeigh. Membership costs from just £1 per week and can be paid via a door-to-door agent or by standing order. Joining could not be simpler, you can either….
